Javier Barajas’s passion with caring for tracks and racetrack safety began in 1976 when he started working for the track and turf course crews at Arlington Park near Chicago.
Barajas previously cared for Meydan Racecourse, home of the $10 million Dubai World Cup (G1). He has also served as track superintendent for Retama Park, Golden Gate Fields, Canterbury Park, and Fair Grounds.
Barajas, a veteran track specialist with international experience managing surfaces such as dirt, turf and synthetic, is the owner and CEO of On Track Consulting.
